The definition of nourish in the dictionary is; ‘provide with the food or other substances necessary for growth, health, and good condition’.

Most of us usually think of the word in terms of healthy food, but there is so, so much more to nourishing body, mind and soul.

FOOD : most of us have it drummed into us from an early age that you have to eat well to maintain a healthy body, but did you know that what you eat can also help to keep your mind healthy and reduce stress? I have created lots of quick, simple and nourishing recipes - many of which are plant based and suitable for various allergies - which provide lots of goodness even when time is in short supply. I will be sharing them over the coming weeks and months.

SKIN : the products we use on our skin can have a huge effect on how we feel and not just because of its condition. Many high street cosmetics contain chemicals that interfere with our hormones which can over time lead to changes in mood and health. My skin section will be full of beautiful natural product recommendations that actually work - I know because they are the ones I use daily - as well as information about all the active ingredients (because I'm a geek and I've read up on them!).

HOME : this is the one that most people neglect - but the spaces we occupy have a huge impact on how we feel. I recently read a book which talked about how our physical world is often a reflection of our inner most thoughts i.e. if your home is cluttered and full of stuff you can’t let go of, chances are so is your head. This section will help you declutter your world so you can make space for what really matters to you.
